Plett Rage or Mistake Rage?

Once again, society plays a massive role. Teenagers view partying as having a good time. Were a matric holiday is seen as drinking and smoking as it's favorable activities.

Not to be rude and no offence.

But didn't someone lose their scholarship because of Plett Rage?

Didn't someone end up pregnant, alcohol poisoning, raped, or even harassed? Yet, it gets covered up because Plett Rage is the party of the year. It is where matrics can let their hair down. I don't know what makes matric exams so stressful because you have been writing exams since the fourth grade.

And not to even mention, drunk teens trying to drive. Don't people see the risks involved? Not everyone's little angel is an angel. The world out there that involves young adults' is flippen scary. The things we can do and the mistakes we can make, which influence our long term, is at the end, not even worth it.

If you think about it, the children at Plett Rage is alcoholics for a week. Scary thought, right? And in most the videos, where teenagers were interviewed, the one question: "Is it true what people say about Plett Rage? Is it that bad?" gets answered differently by gender. The boys would answer, "Yes, it is that bad," and the girls would say, "it isn't that bad. Plett Rage is very fun." The answers to that question make you wonder, doesn't it?

My main point is, is that most teens make one of the biggest mistakes in their lives at Plett Rage. Not because they have been brought up wrong, but because they are not thinking in their right mind at that moment. Why don't people avoid such problems? Why do that to yourself?

"Rage - Whether in reaction to social injustice, or to our leader's insanity, or to those who threaten or harm us - is a powerful energy that, with diligent practice, can be transformed into fierce compassion."
